The course, Managing Retirement Income, will be held exclusively for financial advisors on March 21. Registration for this course is included in your conference registration fee.
This course, Managing Retirement Income, is designed to give the insurance professional insight into the challenges faced by retirees in the 21st century. The course will review several risk factors that must be taken into consideration when designing a retirement income stream and the options available to shift the risk to an insurance company with the use of annuities to guaranty income to last a lifetime.
In order to receive credit for the Correspondence/Self-Study course, you will need to read the Guide to Retirement Planning Strategies material prior to attending the program and you will need to take a 50-question exam and receive a passing grade of 70%. Florida residents are required to take a 100-question exam.
Step 1: Register for the REACH19 Conference.
Note: Your discounted conference registration fee of $395 covers full access to all conference sessions and networking events, the Super CE course, materials and exam.
Step 2: Register for the Managing Retirement Income course on the BEST website in order to receive full CE credit upon completing the course and the exam. You must be registered for the conference in order to receive course materials. Upon completion of the course and exam on March 21, your accreditation certificate will be mailed to your home address. Be sure to provide accurate mailing information when you register for the course.
Step 3: Once you are registered for the conference and the course you will receive a link from BEST to download the course materials.
*Completion of the correspondence course, classroom course, and a passing grade on the exam will earn 13 to 22 state insurance CE credit hours, depending on state, 10 hours of CFP CE credit, and 5 or 10 hours of CIMA CE credits depending on whether the 50 or 100 question exam is taken.
